Peak season for air freight?
Air cargo market expects a strong peak season, the kind from before the big crisis. That would mean introduction of PSS (peak season surcharge) and general rate increases across the board. However, the end customers are reluctant to be accepting rate increases, not really believing in the capacity issues now and in coming weeks. Will we have the first real peak season in years, or the carriers will have to put off their planned rate increases until later?…
