The shipping lines celebrate their 2017 earnings and look positively also into 2018
2017 was a good year for the shipping lines. it started with strong rate increases and apart from few months with small decreases and slower demand, it held quite steadily till the end. 2018 also looks quite interesting, looking at the demand and rate levels in January and February, although a lot can still happen.
